Ironic that Macbeth is saying he’s a friend even though he is not. Banquo knows that the witches said Macbeth would become king so Macbeth does not like that.

diamond is given to reinforce the greed that Macbeth is feeling.

fleance heard about the three witches and is the first new person to know about them.

macbeth starts to vision a dagger that has the handle towards him. It is saying that Macbeth should go ahead and kill Duncan.  The dagger becomes bloody when it want before.
